We are pleased to announce that "Dotonbori River Stage 2023" will be held on Saturday, November 25, 2023, at the Namba Hiroba Main Stage (in front of Nankai Namba Station).
Dotonbori, once called the Broadway of Japan. Many theaters and movie palaces. From the Meiji to the Showa eras, Dotonbori was the heart of Osaka's culture, showcasing not only entertainment but also Kabuki, comedies, and revues.
To experience the history and performing arts culture of Dotonbori, the "Dotonbori River Stage," which began in 2015.
The event was canceled for two years due to the COVID-19 pandemic, but it was revived last year, and this is the seventh time it will be held this year.
This year, the venue will be moved from the special stage on Aioibashi to the newly completed "Namba Hiroba" in front of Nankai Namba Station, and will be held as part of the inaugural event for Namba Hiroba, the Dotonbori River Festival.
