Mitsu Shrine (Mitsu Hachiman-gu) Summer Festival
Mitsu Hachiman Shrine is the ujigami (guardian deity) of the Shinsaibashi area. Surrounded by Amerikamura (America Village), its grounds offer a tranquil atmosphere. To bring back its former liveliness, its summer festival features a portable shrine procession with the cooperation of shops in the Shinsaibashi-suji Shopping Street and the Amerikamura area. The shrine grounds are bustling with night stalls run by the local youth group.
